The Chaperone is a precision-based shotgun. Hitting a critical (headshot) kill activates The Roadborn, which drastically increases your stats, allowing you to chain precision kills quickly at surprising ranges for a shotgun.

• Original Introduction: It was introduced in Destiny (D1) during The Taken King expansion and returned in Destiny 2 with Forsaken. It is a classic Tex Mechanica weapon.
• Signature Design: It is a distinctive lever-action shotgun that fires a single, high-precision slug instead of a spread of pellets. This means you must aim for a headshot to get the most benefit.
